With certification in Lagree Fitness and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, I bring a unique blend of scientific expertise and fitness training. My career is focused on overcoming the effects of stress, and my passion for wellness led me to Lagree.
I was captivated by the intensity, challenge and mind-body connection of Lagree Fitness. Practicing the Lagree exercise Method transformed both my body and my mental health. Under the mentorship of the Founder of Lagree Fitness, Sebastien Lagree, I am now excited to offer personalized Lagree sessions to guide you to achieve your physical and mental wellness goals, step-by-step.

Combining Science and Strength for a Healthier You!

From PhD…..
I received my PhD in Biomedical Science in 2014 from the Medical University of South Carolina. My research studies included stem cells, cancer and tumor metastasis, pulmonary fibrosis and other exposure-induced lung diseases, as well as cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis. I have authored over 20 publications with over 300 citations. As my scientific career progressed, I led my own laboratory in studies of the impact of psychological stress on health and disease. To Lagree!
In 2024 I earned my Certification in Lagree Fitness from Master Trainer Christa Chase, Founder of Lagree Luxe in Denver, Colorado (one of the first Lagree studios in Denver!). I practiced Lagree most days of the week at Twst Fitness with Master Trainer Kerri Shoen and mastered my form, alignment, and technique under Kerri, benefiting from her 20+ years of experience as a Fitness Instructor and business owner. I love the outdoors and when I purchased my first Microformer I immediately took it on the road! I traveled to the summit of Pike’s Peak, the highest peak in Colorado, to the Charleston, South Carolina Lowcountry, and many incredible destinations in between. As my passion for Lagree grew, I had the opportunity to recieve mentorship and in-person training from the Founder and Creator of Lagree Fitness, Sebastien Lagree. I continue to be grateful for our frequent interactions and his valuable guidance which I will share with you as a valued client of Lagree2Go. Creating success
In October of 2024, I made the leap from scientist to Lagree Instructor as I saw a significant need for individuals to find balance in their lives. Being a scientist and leading a laboratory has provided me with the expertise in health and teaching necessary to help others minimize the negative impact of stress on their physical and mental health without medical intervention. Exercise IS medicine! When we contract our muscles, molecules called myokines are released which increase dopamine and serotonin and activate anti-inflammatory signaling. The focus and intention required to master Lagree increases your mental endurance, helping you to become a more resilient and stronger version of you. Strengthening the slow twitch muscle fibers through Lagree will increase your physical endurance, and before you know it, you will find yourself energized and well-equipped to handle the challenges of day-to-day life!
